How-To use bit.ly/j.mp URL shortening service?

As of version 1.3 myPhoneDesktop provides Support for bit.ly/j.mp services that allows you to shorten, share and track your links sent to your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch via myPhoneDesktop.

Use your API key to allow myPhoneDesktop to shorten links on your behalf. You can see bit.ly API key on your bit.ly account page.
You must be signed in to bit.ly  to view your API key. Please Sign In or Sign Up

To enable bit.ly/j.mp url shortening:

1. Choose the URL View and click the Options button.
2. Turn-on the Shorthen URL (bit.ly/j.mp) option.
3. Enter your bit.ly Login and API Key.
4. Click the Apply button for settings to take effect.

Now, every time you send URL link via myPhoneDesktop to your iDevice the URL will be shortened using bit.ly/j.mp service.
