Ability to call or sms phone numbers on a webpage

I'm not sure if this would require a Firefox/Chrome extension, or whether it is even possible ..

It would be great if a user could click or right click on a phone number in a webpage to bring up a right click menu that includes options to 'call number via myPhoneDesktop' or 'SMS number via myPhoneDesktop'

@Mark yes, a right-click menu would require extension. This functionality is currently in development pipeline and will be available in future releases.  see: http://support.myphonedesktop.com/entries/199408-google-chrome-exte...

and also you can use global shortcuts like Ctrl+C+C or Cmd+C+C (depending on you OS) and/or myPhoneDesktop bookmarklet

Hi Joe,

Yes, you can install bookmarklet in Safari to Send data to myPhoneDesktop. Safari extension is currently in development and would be available in the future.

myPhoneDesktop Bookmarklet lets you capture and send to your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch anything interesting you see while browsing the Web. See something you like - select it and send it to your device with ease:
