I'm finding that the app is using a lot of resources even when idle:
Real memory: 115 MB
Threads: 26
CPU: hovers b/w 1.5% and 2.5%
Why so much RAM? That's more than triple what Dropbox uses for a point of comparison. I've seen it as high as 150 and it seems to be creeping upwards. Maybe there's a memory leak?
I feel the thread count is a little high too, but that's less of an issue to me.
The CPU usage is definitely the worst of the offenders. The app should be using virtually 0% of my CPU when idle. This is on a 2.66GHz Core 2 Duo (MacBook Pro). When on battery power this is a concern.

@Vince we are working to improve this, but in many cases this is outside of our control (thanks to Apple in this case). But we are working on it and this will improve in the future. Thank you for understanding.
Yes I notice the same problem - it's always over 125MB of RAM for me. Although CPU usage is generally about 1.0% with the same threads as Vince.
For a comparison, Mail on the same machine which contains over 19000 emails in the inbox only uses 95MB of RAM, no CPU and 7 threads.
Anything you could do to reduce this would be most welcome.
To add a suggestion it would be great if MyPhoneDesktop could take some UI pointers from the new Fantastical App. When I click on the icon MyPhoneDesktop app in the task bar (or use a system wide shortcut) it would be great to be able to send an SMS directly from the panel that pops up.
@Luke Yes, work is already in process and Thank you for suggetion. I do like Fantastical App quite a lot so we will definitely look at it... Thanks again.
