Text to Notes

I would like to see a context option to copy incoming new text directly to a new note without manually navigating and opening the Notes app and copying. Is that a possibility?

Unfortunately not with Notes.app as Apple does not provide any API to work with Notes.app (hopefully in upcoming iPhone OS v4). We are currently developing new features for upcoming version that would integrate myPhoneDesktop with Simplenote (http://simplenoteapp.com/) and Instapaper (http://www.instapaper.com/)

That is extremely unfortunate, hopefully it'll be in OSv4. I'm glad to hear that you're forging ahead to provide extensibility in available applications. I just with I used those apps. I guess I'll just have to continue to copy and paste...too bad.

Yes, totaly agree and hope for Notes.app API to be available in v4. Can not even guess why it is not avaiable! Well, you know... Apple :)
Anyway, would strongly suggest you to look at Simplenote - much better notes app and today Simplenote integrates good number of great apps, webservices, and scripts: http://simplenoteapp.com/extras
We definitely will have Simplenote integration in the near future.
